Cloyette Harris-Stoute is the designer and CEO of the New York-based jewelry brand, Alliyette, formerly Twin Elegance. Born and raised in Guyana, South America, she was immersed from a young age in a culture that cherished the artistry of high-karat gold jewelry. The tradition of gifting gold to newborns and young children was a custom that her parents and other family members fully embraced. The confidence and strength exuded by the women in her family, coupled with the treasured jewelry handed down through generations, helped to fuel her passion for exquisite jewelry.
Cloyette refined her craft at the Jewelry Arts Institute in New York City, when she learned jewelry metalsmithing. She expanded her skills in sculptural jewelry and 3D wax carving at the Art League of Long Island. After a hiatus to focus on family, Cloyette channeled her twin passions for women's empowerment and jewelry design - and in 2021 launch of Twin Elegance. In 2024, she evolved the venture into “Alliyette,” a brand that embodies the spirit heritage and fine jewelry.
Before dedicating herself fully to Alliyette, Cloyette had a rewarding career in Healthcare Information Technology, spanning nearly two decades, and is currently delving into the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Beyond her design work, she enjoys writing inspiring stories of exceptional women from her homeland on her blog, Guyanese Girls Rock! Her dedication to philanthropy is also evident through Guyanese Girls Rock Foundation, a non-profit she founded in 2018, which fosters mentoring and leadership development for teenage girls and provides scholarships to promising young women in both the USA and Guyana. She also serves on several boards.
