ZODIAC GEMSTONES

Zodiac is derived from astrology. Babylonian astrology to be precise. Astrology was used to differentiate time and seasons. It was used as a form of calendar, telling the start and end of a new month. Zodiac gemstones are gems attributed to each zodiac sign.

It is important to note that zodiac gemstone may be different from birth month gemstone. Although there is varying information on which gem belong to which zodiac sign, the jeweller’s association in America came together to decide and give a standardized list of zodiac gemstones.

AQUARIUS - GARNET
Jan, 20 to Feb. 18

The Aquarius zodiac sign are for people born between January 21 and February 18. The gemstone for Aquarius is garnet. The element for Aquarius is air, the colour is light blue and silver. People born in this period are independent, fun to be with and helpful. They however can be temperamental and unpredictable. Their lucky numbers are 4, 7, 11, 22, 29.
